Character Education Standards Alignment
How Our Character Education Standards Alignment Works
Character education standards alignment is built into every Champion Within program from the ground up. Our boxing-inspired character education curriculum supports Florida's B.E.S.T. ELA Communication Strand (C.2), the CASEL framework for social-emotional learning, WIDA English Language Development standards, and the Common Core Speaking & Listening Anchor Standards (CCRA.SL) - while our family workshops align with National PTA Standards for Family-School Partnerships. Our Black History Month program is grounded in Florida's African American History statute (Fla. Stat. Section 1003.42(2)(h)), giving schools a standards-aligned, ready-to-book assembly that reinforces character, resilience, and communication skills across the curriculum. Our Relationships & Conflict Resolution content is grounded in Florida's anti-bullying law (Fla. Stat. Section 1006.147, the Jeffrey Johnston Stand Up for All Students Act), and our Resilience and Character pillars directly support Florida's required-instruction statute for life skills, resiliency, and civic and character education (Fla. Stat. Section 1003.42(2)(o) and (t)).
